Canadian Construction
Safety Council (CCSC)
The Canadian Construction Safety Council (CCSC) is dedicated to driving positive change in the construction industry’s safety standards across Canada. By harnessing the collective strength of our members, we aim to elevate the safety performance of individual companies and set new benchmarks for the industry.
Strategic Objectives
To achieve our mission, the CCSC has outlined six objectives:

Reduce Serious Injuries and Fatalities
Decrease the number of serious and fatal injuries in the construction industry through improved safety practices and protocols.
2.
Champion Industry Safety Improvements
Develop, adopt and implement best safety practices.
3.
Enhance Safety Image and Relationships
Improve the construction industry’s safety reputation and foster stronger relationships with public and private clients, as well as regulatory bodies.
4.
Networking and Education
Provide opportunities for members to share knowledge, access safety resources, and learn from one another.
5.
Leverage Industry Resources
Utilize the creativity, innovation, and the industry’s collective expertise to establish and maintain higher safety standards.
6.
Mental Health Awareness
Promote resources and education to support the mental health and overall well-being of workers among our members or within the industry.

in Canadian Construction
The Canadian Construction Safety Council (CCSC) is an organization of world-class Canadian general contractors united by a common goal: to be a force for positive change in Canada by leveraging the collective safety knowledge and capacity of industry-leading member companies and improving safety performance across the industry.
CCSC is proud to collaborate with 12 of the largest general contractors in Canada to support this transition:
